Youth IGF Indonesia believes that young people deserve to have their rights protected on the Internet as well as offline.
We strongly admire the power of the Internet to bring all of us closer together. Whether we use the Internet to create powerful apps, find information, buy and sell things, or even just stay in touch with our family and friends — it’s important we all have the freedom to do any of these of things online.
The Internet has grown, developed and adapted to new technologies, uses and functions. Youth IGF Indonesia works are to understand how these various factors might affect us as young people and the Internet’s future.
Network connections are a hallmark of the Internet. Educating the youth that radio-frequency spectrum and satellite orbital positions are mandatory aspects to create a seamless global communications system that’s robust, reliable, and constantly evolving.
The ability to interact online without experiencing cybercrimes and our personal privacy are an important part of the Internet’s value.
We are here to protect youth from cybercrime related issues, educating and advocating their rights in social media/online.
Inclusive technology for children, girls and youth to boost access to large amounts of information that supported changes to transform our lives forever.
The innovative potential of young people, combined with the power of technology, is our weapon to achieve the SDGs.
