Girls in ICT Day reminds us that gender equality is a human rights issue, the unfinished business of our time.

This Thursday reminds us that ICTs help to improve the lives of people everywhere – through better health care, better environmental management, better communications, and better educational systems that transform the way children and adults learn.

There is overwhelming evidence that investing in women is the most effective way to lift communities, companies and countries. Women’s participation makes peace agreements stronger, societies more resilient and economies more vigorous.

This is a call to all multi-stakeholders related, let’s join hand together and share commitment to close the gender digital divide.

Happy International Girls in ICT Day!
